We have a beautiful backyard! I love our little garden, our gorgeous Ash tree, and delightful path that winds through the yard.
When we moved here the east side of the house was covered in overgrowth, piles of garbage from an old dog run, and a toppling fence. It took a lot of work to clean it out and create a space for what we wanted there. We've talked about getting them for a long time and now it's finally here....
...Chickens! We are so excited to use this east corner of our property to raise chickens!
We got two solid black ones, three black and white ones, and three red ones.
The red ones are a little bigger than the others and can be a kinda mean. So we named the first red one Brewster (short for Punky Brewster), the other we named Ginger (we figure they get their temperament from being red heads. 😉)
And the meanest "red head" I named *B* which is short for ummm.... Bratt, yes. 😏
