So, we watched Groundhog Day tonight and then talked to the kids about what broke the cursed rut of misery for Phil Connors. It was when he had a "mighty change of heart" and began to live for others instead of for himself. The curse was broken when he sincerely cared and tried to better himself not to impress but to bless.
With this in mind... My verse I've chosen to "ponderize" for the week is this:
"Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things." - 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
