Make Us One

I had the opportunity to sing in the choir for Stake Conference over the weekend. There's one song that was my favorite, especially as we watch these miraculous changes that have taken place to create our new Stake. 

Over these last few days I've found myself singing parts of this song quietly to myself, probably because it seems to echo the heartfelt cries of my own prayers, "teach me compassion: cast my fear aside". I'm thankful for the language of music. I have needed it more than ever these past few days. The Lord knows it is my love language.
